A Cute Idea That I’ll Forget About

an editor is calling for writers to send in their rejection letters to be published in a compendium in 2010. (source)

It probably wouldn’t be a book to read, but once worth glancing at for a few moments if it were left on a table in front of you.  Yet I’ll probably never think of this book again.  Even with a book I’m so minimally interested in, I’m feeling the weight of information overload.

For real guilt, I recommend the words “magisterial history of the reformation.”  It’s 750 pages, and a subject that I, in spite of all reasons to the contrary, know next to nothing about.
