I Think It’s Good for You To Get Measles

The headline is a quote from a prominent doctor in the anti-vaccine movement. It was in response to Arthur Allen‘s rather inspired question “which vaccines should we stop giving?” See, now that the mercury-autism link has lost whatever minimal credibility it had, portions of the anti-vaccine movement have gone for a new and more vague explanation: that the kids are getting too many vaccines, too soon. Needless to say, it’s a bit awkward to say which vaccines should be left out.
