Yesterday, as I was posting about media sexism, I thought that it’s remarkable how much more overt the sexism was, when compared to racism. Fox News corrects my naiveté by referring to Michelle Obama as Obama’s “Baby Mama.”
It’s impossible to explain that away as anything but blatant stereotyping. (Thanks to Shawn for the tip). There’s also sock monkey obama, which I saw via Jamelle.
